Re: keep the stuff as
Nope. The dead are dead and nothing can bring them back. This whole *nishani *business is crap!
Re: keep the stuff as
When my daddi ammi died I was around 12, and for a few weeks I made everyone keep their clothes hung up. Eventually, mummy convinced me to allow her to give them to the poor. May Allah (swt) forgive their sins & gve them a place in Jannat, Ameen.
Re: keep the stuff as
When someone dies, everything they had becomes very sentimetal. I think it's good to keep some things the way they were, but there is a fine line between a healthy obsession and a not so healthy obsession.
I'm not sure about everyone else, but in my family, the belongings usually go to charity because it's something for which the dead person receives reward for in the hereafter. So considering that, I wouldn't feel too bad if someone changed it.
Re: keep the stuff as
If you try to keep things the same, it's not good for your grieving process. It is very necessary to accept the situation and integrate that fact in your life by making real changes necessary. But leaving everything as is, you keep yourself from getting through the pain healthily.
