Re: Keep the change

I was buying pomegranate (anaar) from a Pathan and he said ’ Rs 160 per Kg’.. I siad ‘ziada mehnge nahin de rahe ho? :emmy: ’ He said ’ saab ji, Qandhar ka anaar hai’ I said: ‘maine kab kaha ke Karachi ka hai? :faizy:

Khair finally he lowered the price. When I paid him , he said ‘10 rupiye nai ae saab’. maine kaha ‘koi masla nahi’. He said ‘aap ka haq hai’.. he then searched his pockets and came up with 7 rupees (a coin of Rs 5 and Rs 2). when I started walking towards apple stall, he said ’ ruken saab: ye 2 rupe aur mil gaye.. ek rupiya to bakhsh kare ga na’ I said ’ laale, koi baat nahi’. Then I went and bought fruits from different reRhi walas. When I came back near my car and was reversing it, he came with Rupee 1 coin..‘saab ji ye bhi rakh len’. I was thinking ‘aise bhi log hain duniya main’ :hmmm:

Keep the change

I’m really glad people like that Fruit Walla still exist in this world. We could use a lot more of those. :k:

I would have bought some extra fruit from him.
