KD, & UD

what does the KD & UD stands for on the food products?

Re: KD, & UD

Both of those mean the item is certified kosher, which means you can also eat it. You should always look for either KD, UD, or just K or U on yogurt, cheesecake, and other items that commonly have gelatin in them. Even if gelatin is listed in the ingredients, if one of the above labels is on it, then the gelatin is kosher & it’s ok to eat.
