Poor Karzai is begging Talibobs to come join the group and feast on afghan pie. I am not sure Talibobs are smart enough to realize that their game is over. They better sit in Karazai’s tent and enjoy Amreeki halwa.
Karzai Calls on Taliban to Vote in Elections
Afghanistan President Hamid Kharzai has called on former Taliban members “to cast votes” in the general and local elections to be held on September 18.
Addressing all the Afghans living abroad and former Taliban members who are living in exile in Pakistan, the Afghan President asked them, “to return home to cast their votes”.
Kharzai also asked armed militia groups to participate in the elections as he said in that then the country could begin its democratic process immediately and development could speed up.
Karzai also addressed to the international community as he demanded support for the restructuring process to take place in the country after the general elections. In the meantime, as an election study goes on, people who are claimed to be Taliban guerillas killed seven Afghans after finding them with voter cards for the elections.
A total of 200,000 people including five deputy candidates and four elections officers have been killed in Afghanistan in the last six months.
In the meantime, The New York Times reported news relying on Pentagon that the US will withdraw 4,000 soldiers out of 20,000 from Afghanistan next spring.
US Defense Department officials reported that withdrawing some US soldiers from Afghanistan is dependent on the North Atlantic Treaty Organizations (NATO) forces coming to Afghanistan and the Afghan elections will also be influential about the issue.

yeah like afghanis have any say in elections? from top to bottom, all candidates are hand-picked by karzai and his goons and people are being forced to go and vote for them. hah! democracy my ass. who put karzai in power in the first place? where are the official political parties? where are the campaigns and above all, where is the political platform for all this?

2,800 parliamentary candidates
3,000 candidates for 34 provincial councils
there are literally pages and pages of candidates…
Whether all the nay sayers believe it or not, this is the first nationwide provincial and legislative poll in decades in Afghanistan. Despite the killing of over 1,000 people in the last 6 months in an effort to disrupt the election, the elections are going off without a hitch.
What a shame Muslims cannot see the success of their brothers, instead of the fascist Taliban.

There have been so many ovatures to the Taliban to lay down their arms and join the political process that it is funny. At this point they have some very unclean hands. But I’ll tell you what, if your believe that the Taliban would provide a good way of life for you and your family, simply pack up and move to the territories. I am sure they would find you useful…
^^CIA funds were long gone. Talibobs got bud-hazmi (tummy-ache) from arrabob capsules. Had they avoided these bidduin medicine, they probably would still be in power. But these MAToos had to turn Afghanistan into another hummus Hammas land. The outcome was very similar. Just like Hammas, Talibobs got thrashed as well.
