Military has always upper hand over civilians. Whether it was ZAB, BB, NS or Zardari. Any time they want to kick legally elected government, they did it. I know you have soft corner of the tin commando because he is a muhajir. Don't your emotions carried away to ignore reality.

After 1971, ZAB was in a position to change this nonsense. But he did not. Ultimately he was hanged by same army whom he helped back to stand on its feet after the tragic defeat in 1971. Once they became strong, they started to play power game, they were playing since 1947. This unholy compromise is by default. Perhaps no one can change it now. Civilian governments will always be hirhas.

It can be changed by delivering and delivering only. If the our leaders had delivered with whatever unholy compromises they accepted but no one did.

It once again proves that civilian govt has no power over internal and external policies. No one should blame govts for not doing enough to eradicate terrorists as they are mere puppets.
