When I opened the thread up, I was a bit puzzled at the way the media was keeping mum about it and couldnt in my wildest dreams think that the ex COAS could have had a stake in it. The stories that are coming out in recent times about the corruption of Kayani's brother (read the COAS himself), clears the misconceptions of what really would have happened in the previous elections. Kayani's brother was allotted a lot of projects by Shahbaz Sharif in the period of 2008 to 2013 (conflict of interest), in return he gave them the federal government. Win win situation for all.
I shudder to think what kind of decisions a corrupt COAS would have taken in front of US and other foreign countries? And what kind of respect he would have had in front of political leaders including Nawaz and Zardari.

And people made fun of Imran when he said Kiyani was also part of the evil nexus that gave birth to this rigged and illegal government.
I don't know how reliable is Hamid Mir these days but according to him, and Gen Raheel has ordered probe into DHA dealings. We all know journalists like Kalasra had sworn that proceedings against Kiyani's brothers are underway.

I am confused ali...is there any new news against kayani that shows he was involved in corruption? if not, these are 3 yr old news. why blame the man now? he was COAS and deserves our respect unless there is a legitimate scandal, as i see it.

Many journalists have been pointing out that investigations are being carried out against Kayani's brothers. SS gave them countless projects during their previous tenure. Secondly watch the video that I posted above (its from a program conducted yesterday), DHA signed an agreement favorable to Bahria Town. Their name was being maligned and the ex COAS remained aloof? More that three years have passed since the buyers of DHA Valley, DHA overseas etc made their payments but the allotment of plots has not been done so far. Many buyers are low level army officials who have lost all their retirement savings (in the organization called Defence Housing Authority), and the army high officials dont care? By the way DHA Valley still does not have any land, DHA has asked them to build DHA Valley in the place of DHA Extension (2), not sure what would happen to the buyers of that scheme. I am sure all of this could not have happened without the connivance from the highest levels. Anyways its learnt that Raheel Sharif has ordered DHA Valley to issue allotment letters ASAP.

Here I am a direct victim of this dirty alliance , Being a small part of of this type of business knowing much , living in their area always feel trouble but can say Pakistan saw the worst due to this alliance . Only one man is resisting since long alone He is Ch Nisar .

This is a decade or more old project , Sold on very high prices , Even Bahria Town phase 8 and DHA are in same area and no difference in both .
