I think some of you guys are overreacting. This government has been pathetic and incompetent in so many ways that someone needs to remind them every now and then

Kayani is right in a way though

The internal security is the responsibility of the Government/police. Restoring peace in Karachi is the government’s (not the army’s) job
The army’s main role is to deal with external threats and defend the borders.

That is true in other countries, not Pakistan where the Army is involved in everything.

Do not forget the history of Pakistan, Army/ISI has been more involved the in the internal situation than fighting external invaders.
