Katy stole dancers from TSwifts ongoing tour and that killed their on off acquaintance. TSwifts ex dated Katy so that was also seed of discord. Now TSwift wrote a song that could be about Katy.

And I've only heard 2 Katy songs and none of Tswifts so I'm not sure why I know this.
