My hunch is that this is the work of Fatah-Al-Islam. They want to draw Israel into the conflict because Hezbollah has denied firing these rockets.

The best solution is to rehabilitate all the Pelestinians to Saudi Arabia and other "brother" Arab nations. They love to talk about Arab unity, sadly there's nothing in substance to show that.

Israel withdrew from 100% of Egyptian territory i.e. Sinani Peninsula - it achieved everlasting peace with Egypt.
Israel withdrew from 100% of Jordanian territory - it achieved everlasting peace with Jordan.
When it withdraws from the remaining parts of Lebanon it occupies i.e. Shebaa farms, from 100% of the Golan Heights of Syria, and 100% of the Palestinian territories (W. Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem) it will get peace with those nations.
It will never get peace until it withdraws from 100% of the territories of neighbouring states it still occupies.

They withdrew from those areas because they weren't being used as staging grounds for attacks against Israel.
They withdrew from these areas because they hard partners in peace that negotiated and recognized Israel.
Until the Palestinians can offer the same thing they won't get anything.
This kind of crap coming from Lebanon is idiotic and does nothing to furhter the Palestinian cause.

Seminole has this to say in 2007: "If Palestinians want a peaceful settlement and any chance of self government in Gaza and West Bank, they have to negotiate peacefully with Israel as did Jordan and Egypt. The Sheeba Farms were occupied by Syria and then Israel took them over when it conquered the Golan from Syria in 1967.
