The doomsayers who’ve been braying about going jobless have got their answer. For the alabaster beauty has all but bagged choreographer-director Farah Khan’s next film Tees Maar Khan opposite Akshay Kumar.
While the movie’s producer Shirish Kunder is still gagged about confirming Akki’s heroine in his dream project, insiders from the industry reveal that Kat has almost been signed for the film.
Various other actresses, from Deepika Padukone to Sonam Kapoor, were considered for the role, but it was Kat who eventually clinched it.
Doubtlessly, Akshay and Kat’s track record at giving hit films at box office must have been an important factor in roping her for the film.
The movie will have Akki playing a super-clever conman.
