We went in to see Vanilla Sky but didn’t like the theatre so moved to “Kate”. Good reason, huh?

A love story through and through. I was told that if you are a Harlequin or Silhouette fan than this should be your staple.
What beats me is why Meg Ryan insists on keeping ugly hair. She has/had such nice hair (Sleepless in Seattle), but lately she prefers that pointy, unkept hair style, which, atleast to me, doesn’t do her justice at all. The dude in the movie is smart. However, there is no chemistry between the two. The shots of 1800s were so obviously digitally mastered that they were no fun.
The movie is about time travel (yawnnnnn) and a love story between a duke from 1876 and a career woman from 2001. No points for guessing the fabulous end.

All in all, I’d give it 5/10.
