I had mentioned abt Emirates because,On 23rd July 2001,the L.T.T.E had carried out an attack on Katunayake base of the Srilankan Airforce .The attack resulted in the destruction of many Srilankan planes.Emirates Airlines had a tie-up with Srilankan Airways at that time.... :p

In 1986 they had carried out attack in Anuradhapuram which resulted in the partly destruction of `Bodhi Tree' which is revered by Budhists across the globe....

Ofcourse Mr.Rajiv Gandhi's assassination at the hands of L.T.T.E resulted in the postponement of India's 1991 Loksabha (Parliament)election...

I was referrinmg to a cople of bombing efforts by the L.T.T.E using czek imported planes..... Although the initial attacks were O.K,towards end other attacks were utter failiures and simply comical types...

^ Yeah that bit confussed me becuase I had assumed by airplanes, that it would be fighter planes… hence why I assumed it was Nasser or Sadat. :slight_smile:

Very well I give you present to you a person who is perhaps the finest of heroes,

His persona is steeped in legend but he is a consumate warrior and a founding father of a nation, not just a nation but is responsible for changing much of the world as we know it... for where it not for his actions we would have to re-draw a fair chunk of the world map and not to mention cultural influences. Yet he is often forgotten even though his name is one of the most profound names in many cultures.

This man is indeed worthy of such a game can you guess to whom I am reffering?

Pretty simple game. You have to guess a famous person or place or event / invention/technology in 20 questions

Last game was was won by Faris uddin ! Good game......

Faris has suggested a FAMOUS PERSON for next game.

Rules:

  1. Only 20 questions can be asked.
  2. We will only answer Yes or No, so think before you post questions.
  3. Question within question would weigh total number of questions (example:- was he a famous 20th century scientist? would weigh 2 questions if it's already not established that personality IS a scientist).
  4. If you want a hint then it will cost you 2 questions.
  5. Members can pm AV MODS if they have something in mind and they want other members to guess it.
  6. Guessing GUPPIES is not allowed, although they are famous but still NO.
  7. You can discuss it with other players and post questions for each other's attention. When you do this, start your post with "not a question for game" and we will ignore that post.
  8. The winner will host the next Kasouti game. Winner will PM AV mods the next question, DO NOT change it once game has started and stick with what you have PMed AV mods.

These rules MUST be followed.
