Guys you know you can discuss it among each other? When discussing among eachother just mention in 1st line “not a question” and we will ignore it … means we will not give any response to it. :k:
Bitter: I PMed you yesterday about something. I am still waiting for your reply.
^ you may like to pick up some other line of thinking than a consumer product? read the first post again its an "Invention/Technology" it may be some thing of secondary nature
I would consider a phone a consumer product as well - but I can’t really think of what else it could be. First of all, as Aces has said, we have to think outside the bedroom. I think based on his hint, the main purpose for this object is outside the room, but it can be brought inside the room as well or components of it are inside the room.
Not to be stuck in the room or home - but I wonder if the object can be used outside of the house? Maybe we’ve (or rather I’ve) gotten fixated inside the house
So going back to the function of the object - given that this object is powered by electricity/battery, I’m a little perplexed about how it fails to be a consumer product? I wonder what the life-cycle of the product is - whether it needs to be replaced frequently or whether its a “lifetime” product.
Does it make noise, does it emit light, how large is it? And based on Aces last comment - what if it’s not the object, but the purpose of the object that he’s looking for - meaning what if he’s looking for a technology and NOT and physical invention?
the whole issue is whether its a device being discussed or the technology which it uses...
since the question is invention/technology..... may be the questioner is just dumping out all questions which are 'device' specific...
Light per say isn't an invention. The use of electricity (which always existed) was an invention and you already asked about William Gilbert, who was credited with being the father of electricity, and given the answer of "no". A light bulb itself is a consumer product so that couldn't apply either.
