I was a popular tv programe in pakistan, where two people used to guess what is in the mind of person by asking some 20 questions. It was played on Gupshup, extensively in the past and it was fun
The TV program was a long long time back. I used to watch some reruns on PTV in my bachpann, and the thing that was really awesome about that program was that the host (Quresh Pur) and the two contestants (one of them was Ubaid Ullah Baig, can't remember the name of the other one) will only talk in Urdu. They will not mix any english word in their conversation. All three of them were highly educated and intellectuals; and it was amazing to listen to them speak in a very high quality urdu language through out the program.
The starter of this Kasoti thing in Cafe` was Khan_Sahib... He has truely left.. every other person shows up once in a while... even Khanzadah comes once in 6 months:p
I remember watching the b@w version of this when i was kid. CAnt say it was my favorite TV show at the time but all the adults in the house seemed glued to it
the trio was Quresh Pur (host) with Iftekhar Arif and Obaid Ullah Baig. In the later version Himayat Ali Sayer took over from Quresh pur and Obaid was replaced by a journalist whose name I cant remember just now, something Salahuddin.
i cant seem to edit, Iftekhar was replaced by Salahuddin and not Ubaid. I think that was the time when Iftekhar left for London as a protest against Zia's military regieme
