Kashmir's jihadi forces work from Pakistan

How will Imran Khan win elections if he claims Kashmiri Jihadis work from Pakistan. Most of the time Pakistan has said they dont support terrorism in India and only provide moral support for Kashmiris,

Kashmir’s jihadi forces work from Pakistan

Cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan’s election manifesto has listed “Kashmiri jihadi forces” as one of the factors responsible for driving “terror and lawlessness” in Pakistan.

The “Naya Pakistan Plan”, a document posted on the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf’s special website created for the May 11 elections, lists six factors in its section on internal security that drive terror and lawlessness in varying degrees.

The six factors, which Khan holds responsible for the present terror situation in Pakistan, are Taliban resistance movement in Afghanistan, Pakistani Taliban trying to enforce their interpretation of Shariah, Kashmiri jihadi forces working from within Pakistan, sectarian violence, particularly Shia-Sunni killings; ethnic terrorism and violence, for example in Karachi and real and perceived disenfranchisement of Balochistan.

Though anti-India groups such as the banned Hizb-ul-Mujahideen and Al-Badr Mujahideen openly operate from bases and camps in PoK, Pakistani political parties have for long been reluctant to acknowledge that such organisations have a presence in the country.

Most parties usually state in their election manifestos that they will support the Kashmiris in their movement for the right to self-determination.

Khan says his plan would be to extract Pakistan from the US dictated “war on terror” and help the US in their exit strategy with collaborative participation of all stakeholders.

He added that he would be implementing major ‘Insaf’ economic package for redressing the devastation caused by over a decade of war and turmoil especially in the border areas of Pakistan.

Like Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah, Khan says he would also hold a “stakeholders” conference on the lines of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of South Africa in which representatives from all provinces (including the dissent groups who shun violence) will be invited.

“This shall be organised to hear and document grievances from all stakeholders and to draft a resolution roadmap. The resolution of the conference will be made mandatory through an act of Parliament,” the document reads.

When Abdullah was in the Opposition in Kashmir in 2008, he blogged about the prevailing political situation in the state, offering his personal takes on human rights and other issue.

Re: Kashmir's jihadi forces work from Pakistan

Well Imran Khan has said several times that first step to solve any problem is to shun violence. Be it from Kashmiri Mujahideen groups or Indian soldiers operating in Indian Occupied Kashmir. Military or Militancy is not going to solve anything nor it has. So yes..i would support Pakistani, Indian along with Kashmiri groups and especially those Mujahideen groups who are fighting against Occupation of Kashmir to get to table.
Imran also said openly to Indian audience once that...there IS a solution of kashmir. But both Pakistan and Indian govt. should be brave enough to held onto pressure. I hope and pray for our Kashmiri brothers and sisters who are suffering immensely from occupation of India.

Re: Kashmir's jihadi forces work from Pakistan

IK partner JI itself a big Kashmiri Jehadist producing protecting and supporting party, I never understand IK politics.

Re: Kashmir's jihadi forces work from Pakistan

JI is not a partner. Seat adjustment was broached, and now even that is out.
Whose politics do you better understand?

Re: Kashmir's jihadi forces work from Pakistan

Haha good question Silaaj, for timebeing I'm not believing anyone. Tell me one thing how many times more you ignored the mistakes of IK? Bring back the real PTI which he lost years back.
