How is it made? Why is it pink?

nope nothing to laugh about .. its pink in color , the tea leaves are colored deep magenta or maroon and then when mixed with milk the color that comes out is a beautiful light pink ..

you need to get kashmiri tea leaves .. and preparing it takes at least half an hour .. i have a recipe floating here on the forum , if you wanna do a search on “pink tea” you will get the recipe …

All green tea leaves work for the pink tea. I’ve made it a number of times with regular unflavoured green tea leaves and never had a problem getting the pink colour!

i ONLY like dhaabaa ishTyle desii chai…no other tea will make me happy or make my day!
