One million in India may not have any worth, but in Europe it does mean something.
Seems like it is working.
AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL CRITICIZES INDIA FOR GROSS HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS IN KASHMIR
The London-based human rights organization, Amnesty International has criticized India for gross human rights violations by its troops in Indian-held Kashmir and urged India to revoke draconian law “Public Safety Act”.
The Amnesty International, in a report, said that estimates of the number detained under the Public Safety Act over the past 2 decades in the territory ranged from 8000 to 20,000.
Meanwhile, the Chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference Mirwaiz Umar Farooq welcoming the report said that it vindicated Hurriyet’s stand that the occupied territory had been turned into a military garrison.
Veteran Kashmir Hurriyat leader, Syed AliSyed Ali Gilani appealed to the United Nations to send a fact-finding mission to the area.

Activism by peaceful means is always a good thing.
Re: Kashmir: One million signatures capmaign
One million people took to the streets to demand freedom and nothing happened, how one million signatures will make any difference?
Re: Kashmir: One million signatures capmaign
we can get 10 million to counter your 1 million. Waste of time anyways..forget kashmir and handle whatever you have.

I like you mild demeanour, Southie.
Even in the face of other provoking threads, you remain calm and courteous.
(I am saying this because I am assuming that you are from India.)
