Translation in English:
“For this should be martyred 10-15 more.”
There is curfew in Kashmir these days to so that “sangbaaz” people can be prevented from “sangbaazi”…In kashmir “sangbaaz” are the people who are on the payroll of the separatist parties, who are professional stone throwers…they are hired by these parties for money for stone throwing and gathering and motivate youth for “sangbaazi”…
Till last year these numbers of professional “sangbaaz” were estimated to be 500, but by this year their numbers have increased to around 2000…
These “sangbaaz” take over any peaceful protest, and indulge in massive “sangbaazi”.
Since 1999, There has been a major decline in Kashmiri youth crossing over the border to Pakistan to get Arms training to fight Indian security forces…80% of the armed militants in valley are now of pakistani origin (Let, Jaish, Hizb etc)
“Sangbaazi” is the new strategy of separatists…taking advantage of the massive unemployment among the youth in valley…they have started to organize gangs of paid youth…Main aim of these gangs is to organize narebaazi and saangbaazi (stone throwing) among the youth…
They would surround any security vehicle/jeep with jawans or police in it and indulge in massive stone throwing…Jawans in retalition at times fire in the air to disperse them…if that does not work they would fire at the stone throwers to save themselves from being stoned to death…
This strategy is working for the separatists as some of the “sangbaaz” get killed in such scenarios…media potrays them as “unarmed civilian protestors”…as protesting by throwing stones is “legitimate” way of protesting as they are not carrying guns.
Media is not banned, there is curfew in the valley, employees of newspaper/media cannot go to work for past 2 days coz of curfew to prevent “sanbaazi”
Ploce and CRPF is saying, a “sangbaaz” is neither civil nor he is unarmed…so they are not unarmed civilians…
