My post was deleted saying that “illegitmate sources” are not allowed.
AFAIK, Gupshup forum rules nor Kashmir thread rules have no such requirement. I see people posting on other forums news from all over the world.
Is this really fair?
The forum is about Kashmir. Kashmir is a dispute between India and Pakistan. So, if someone posts from a Pakistani source, shouldn’t others be able to present the other side?
Besides, it was a NEWS REPORT! The same NEWS REPORT was even published in Pakistani and other countries’ papers!
The reason is clear enough. Indian news media is historically biased against the Kashmir struggle, and the issue on this forum should be presented from the Pakistani perspective. Therefore, I am against the spamming mechanism that has been taking place in the Kashmir Affairs for quite sometime- posting of sources which does not accurately portray the just struggle of Kashmiri people. Hence, the decision to remove posts coming from the Indian sources.
Secondly, Indian media does not allow Pakistani news coverage, especially on the Kashmir issue, and it's fair deal to filter out hate-filled news from the Indian sources.
just tell me one indian forum where pakistanis can go and write things like "u wet dhoti indians" which u have been writting regarding pakistanis in every thread in the pakistan forum?

Dear ,
The main purpose to have a discussion forum is to allow people to post different point of view and discuss it.If you dont allow other views which you dont agree with then why have a forum.No wonder there is never a good discussion on Kashmir forum.
Who appoint such a dumb person as Moderator.
No need to make false accusations, as I have seldom deleted any posts from the international news sources such as BBC and others. Therefore, blatant lies and petty personal attacks will not get you guys anywhere. I will say press on the point again that stop spamming the forum with fallacious propaganda from the Indian news sources, as I have no problem what so ever pressing the delete button each time when I think it's necessary. Choice is yours.

See when you are a Moderator,your personal view should not come into your moderating Job.You have all the right to think that Pakistani media is best and india's is crappy.But everyone doesnt agree with you and that is what the discussion is all about.
Like if you go to KK forum.Ehsan is a hardcore pakistani cricket team supporter but that doesnt mean that he keeps deleting any post which he thinks is biased. He doesnt let his personal opinion influence his Moderating job.
So start making distinction between your personal opinion and job of a moderator.
Just grow up.Stop this Taliban attitude.

You can clearly see the heading being changed, while the link is still there. There are other articles from biased sources such as Rediff, which were allowed. Again, you guys have no case what so ever. In addition to that, you are in a clear breach of forum ethics by altering the editing done on various posts, while changing my own comments. You were clearly warned against such actions, and you decided to carry on.
I insist on the point again to quit spamming, and to post responsibly and don't use the forum for picking fights, and I will make sure that the same message is sent to all members.

nope. I changed the heading to say - "Pakistani paper" and gave the link to the paper - Daily Times.
I have the web page saved on my hard disk, will try uploading if you want.
Just state the rules clearly and enforce them, Do not make up rules.
As for altering the messages, they were done to ask you why the post was deleted.
Again, no rule says that you cannot alter a post in your own name!
Where are these rules listed?

I have made things crystal clear regarding the policies in all of my above posts. By altering the editing done by the moderators, you are in breach of the forum's ethics as you are pressing your own rules and regulations while challenging the moderator's decision. It's a no win situation. If you have anything more to say, please contact the administration.
