God good. That is pathetic. Not even the Israelis use blue helmets and they are scum. That is just really really low of the Indians.

Re: Kashmir burns again as India responds to dissent with violenc
LoL, I guess 1 billion Indians are lowest form of life.. Maybe our soldiers need to take a leaf out of humane Pak Generals who like to use heavy artillery and helicopter gunships to wipe out whole villages while at the same time pointing out their own citizens for the benefit of foreign drone strikes.
Oh BTW, some humane behavior:
Want more ? Here ya go :
You are doing grave harm to India by making such incendiary remarks..
Re: Kashmir burns again as India responds to dissent with violenc
The difference is snookums we do not breach International Law by wearing blue helmets. It puts people's lives at risk. Specifically us Peacekeepers. That is why when Sudan did it, the UNSC ***** slapped it. They flew white Antonovs to bomb Darfuris. Good company you keep with Omar Al Bashir a War criminakl.

^^
Tsk tsk .. now you are calling me names. I know some Pakistanis are famous for losing their temper, as in here:
But most Pakistanis are moderate and peace loving individuals. Kindly do not give them bad reputation.
Re: Kashmir burns again as India responds to dissent with violenc
Ignorance is not a defense. UN Blue helmets are just that. They wear the uniforms of their countries but to distinguish themselves as UN troops they use Blue Helmets. It has been the UN trademark since the early 70s. India should know that since they are one of the larger troop contributing countries. Sadly no respect for international law.
The question is why are Indian forces using Blue Helmets? Kinda embarrassing for your Ambassador in New York.
Also look at the picture: UN asks Indian army to stop wearing its helmets
Re: Kashmir burns again as India responds to dissent with violenc
Apologies, I wasn't aware of this fact . But I expect it was done out of ignorance not malice. Nonetheless, inexcusable.
Re: Kashmir burns again as India responds to dissent with violenc
I think what is happening in Indian-held Kashmir is unfortunate and tragic.
I was especially moved by a piece I read in the Los Angeles Times about a month ago.
"…Later Tuesday, about 200 yards from the spot where Bhat drowned, four dozen women sat on tarps in the garden of his family house. Inside, Bhat’s older brother lay in a near fetal position sobbing quietly. Nearby, his mother clutched a school photo of her drowned son, showing him in a red tie and ill-fitting jacket, a rebellious strand of hair across his forehead. Her wails were almost song-like.
…Back in Wani’s living room filled with mourners, his sister wondered how the family would survive psychologically and financially without him and bemoaned the cost the protracted conflict was taking on society.
“One death is bad enough,” Khan said. “But it’s almost worse to remain alive and see all the killings. First one mother cries, then another. It feels like we’re dying every day.”

Indian police torture to death 11th class student
In occupied Kashmir, Indian police tortured to death an 11th class student in Srinagar, today. The police arrested the victim and subjected him to torture in custody. The student was shifted to a hospital in Srinagar in a critical condition where he died.
Indian troops opened fire on protesters in Drangbal area of Pampore and injured a youth. Scores of people took to the streets at Trichal in Pulwama with green flags and chanting anti-India and pro-liberation slogans. Similar protests were held in Bandipore.
The occupation authorities clamped curfew in parts of Srinagar and restrictions were imposed in Bijbehara, Islamabad and Budgam towns to prevent protests called by Hurriyet leaders.
The All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement in Srinagar appealed to the international community to take cognizance of the fact that Indian troops were randomly killing innocent Kashmiri teenagers. He said that the occupation authorities had arrested a large number of youngsters and were harassing their families.
Veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani in a media interview pointed out that the occupation authorities were planning to hold Panchayat and Municipal elections in the territory with the aim of sabotaging the ongoing movement.
The members of the High Court Bar Association of occupied Kashmir held a protest demonstration at Saddar Court Complex in Srinagar and demanded immediate medical facility to the illegally detained ailing Bar President, Mian Abdul Qayoom.

Re: Kashmir burns again as India responds to dissent with violenc
you ask the wrong when. The correct when is "when will pakistan learn to behave as a civilized nation internally and externally with resorting to terrorism for every whim".
Re: Kashmir burns again as India responds to dissent with violenc
The brutal actions of the indian police/military in Kashmir will only speed up the process of kashmir leaving india forever.
