It happened during Afghan war... Many political parties started their armed wings... MQM was the one who introduced AK-47 back in 1990 in Karachi University....
The guy(Mikhail Kalashnikov) who invented it was died yesterday at the age of 94....

I attended so many marriages in Pakistan (of families and friends) but never ever seen anybody firing AK47. Reason is obvious that the one bullet cost them a lot :D

Nope! Fire arm laws are very strict, harsh punishment is implemented if one is caught with an illegal or unlicensed weapon.

It is against the law to fire weapons/guns, etc during weddings or anywhere in entire Pakistan.
