Kashi is one of the most popular and beautiful craft made in Hala. In Hala there are four major industries of Kashi, these industries are very old and the people who are working in these industries are extremely talented, who earthenware the clay but finally they make a charming item of Kashi.

**Sindh Handicrafts: A Visit to Kashi Industries at Hala
First of all one person took some amount of clay and a he gave many different shapes to it, then it was put before sun and after that they polished these all items. The clay which is used for polish is not common but it is brought from the mountains of Sewhan especially for polishing these items.
After that painter painted these items and then these items were baked for giving shine to the items. Finally Kashi items were formed.
tombs i am not really sure as i have only been to data darbar, and the shrines in multan (Bahauddin Zakariya, Shah Shams Tabrezi and Shah Rukn e Alam).
Its Shah Latif’s tomb in Bhit, Shah not far from Hala
BTW Thatta’s mosque built by Shahjahan has also dominant Kashi works. Thanks God, Shahjahan didn’t get cut hands of Kashi craftsman like he is blamed in case of Taj Mahal
Yes I have been to sheesh mahal, a few times. When I was a kid I remember going inside the mahal itself but a few years back when I went there repairs were on so couldnt go in.
Have you been to Lahore museum? It’s quite good too, although I have been there only once and that too a few years back when some friends of Sindh made fun of me.
when ever you get a chance put this into ‘to visit’ list along with badshahi masjid, Jahangir/Nur Jahan Tombs, Shalamar Bagh, Lahore Fort/Sheesh mahal. I am sure you would have visited quite a few places from this list. And then Taxila where you can visit the old Takashila university (over 2500 years old), stupas with Budhas carvings and the museum. Taxila is close to Wah, if you know someone there you can visit that town as well. I have not been to Katas Raj temple but thats also a place to see.
