AHMEDABAD: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has criticized the Indian government for asking Pakistan to accept the statement of the lone surviving gunman in the Mumbai attacks as evidence, the Daily Times reported on Tuesday
‘There is no law in our country that would consider the statement of an arrested person before a top-level police official as evidence,’ he was quoted as saying.
‘Despite the situation, we are trying to convince Pakistan to consider the statement evidence. This is very much contradictory,’ continued Modi.
India’s ruling Congress party dismissed Modi’s remarks as ‘irresponsible,’ the Press Trust of India reported Monday.
Congress spokesman Shakeel Ahmed told a press conference that Modi’s comments seemed to be from ‘an advocate of Pakistan.’ Ahmed went on to ask for a clarification.
Tensions between India and Pakistan have heightened following the November 26th/27th attacks in the Indian city of Mumbai which left over 170 people dead. India blames elements within Pakistan for the attack while Pakistan has asked for greater intelligence sharing and evidence to aid in the prosecution.
Obviosuly the mods have no problem in the OP twisting the heading of the article. No where has Modi said that the evidence given to Pakistan is not enough .... His statement and i quote

Now his beef is that the country does not have a law for such a situation, which is actually true. And that is what he is emphasising. However, he knows and unfortunately for Qasab, there is a law in maharasthra ... where he was caught .... it is the maharasthra control of organised crime act and i quote from the act .....
(1) Notwithstanding anything in the Code or in the Indian Evidence Act 1872, but subject to the provisions of this section, a confession made by a person before a police officer not below the rank of the Superintendent of Police and recorded by such police officer either in writing or on any mechanical devices like cassettes, tapes or sound tracks from which sounds or images can be reproduced, shall be admissible in the trial of such person or co-accused, abettor or conspirator

So no wriggle room there also......
Give up boy, without proof you do not stand a chance in any court of law... I challenge you... If Indian govt is so confidnet that it has proof then make a move I am sure any court of law (minus Indian) can handle such cases.. Its called put up or shutup.

Re: Kasab evidence provided to Pak insufficient: Gujarat CM Modi
Sometimes you have to use some grey matter to comprehend something. Who was this evidence given to, China? Wasn't this evidence gathered to be provided to Pakistan to act on what India thought was the group the culprits belonged to? I'm sorry but I don't see any violations here as far as the thread title is concerned.

Well then this lack of grey matter is being displayed by Pakistan !!!! They are investigating the role of Qasab based on this "confession"
In any case what you are comprehending from the stated headline is more then what it actually says ...... my point is that .... If you think the headline is fine ... so be it !!!!

I am not at liberty to change it just because I agree or disagree with it, I was just stating no rules were broken and the moderators are not sleeping like you suggested.
