Karthikeyan well-placed to become India's first FORMULA ONE Driver

Narain Karthikeyan has made a promising start in his bid to become the first person from his country to take part in a Formula One contest.

He has already raced in Japan, was given a test by Jaguar, who said they were impressed by the young Indian’s performance.

While his best lap time was some two seconds slower than the average of Formula One drivers, he had to overcome the disadvantage of driving last year’s model with tyres not designed for it.

gotta give to him .. what a jump from Ambassodor to Jaguar! one lucky indian!

Hey one more thing
These things are hard to explain
For some it seems strange... to swallow
The frontier of our minds
Is the last place we find
But maybe the first place we should go

Rooster-Blues, comparing Ambassador to Jaguar is like comparing a donkey cart to a plane.

Trust the Pakis to be green with envy on Indian achievements !!

BTW, does PAKLAND have an automobile company of its own...

lighten up chilli not every forum is political forum. just cuz the guy dinn write "qaseeday" for the indian driver dunn mean he is jealous.

Personally I would be happy to see desis in F1. I also hold 3 beliefs in my heart

ayrton senna was the best driver I have seen drive

pakistani (maybe indian too, never been to india so cant comment, dunn mean i am green with envy hint hint) rickshaw and minibus drivers can rule f1, cart, le mans, rally, indy and especially nascar

there needs to be a separate rickshaw grand prix.

Come on Chilli, can't you relax and see the funny side of the things for once or do you have to look at every thing from your narrow nationalistic view.
