Oh thank you! Her stuff is awsome! I would definitely day RE over Karma since I agree with some other posters. Karma has become too accessable and it's losing the wow-factor.

well considering Lahore was plagued by bomb attacks for the past week, my mum is now saying we can't go to Lahore so I guess it will have to be Rani Emaan :(

Some of the Rani Emaan formals are really pretty in pictures, but the bridals arent that impressive from what Ive seen on-line.
Yes, one can spot a Karma instantly...one can also spot a Mehdi, HSY, Bunto just as quick--it's just that designers signature style.
From the two, Karma is still a better choice. You know that they have been trusted by many brides and orders are delivered on time. Plus, ten years from now your dress will still be classic and your photos will not look outdated.

You can't compare Karma and** Rani Emaan**. I was going to say the same things about Karma that BR said in her post. Karma has a distinct style and the outfit will yell out the name even if no one discloses the designer's name.
I think Rani Emaan can be compared with Zainab Sajid.

yea Rani Emaan is relatively unknown in comparison to Karma. It's just my parents aren't willing to take me to Lahore to get my dress made from them and I am not going to order online due to the horrors associated with that!

**Rani Emaan **is a great option for you then. Look at their designs and please, please do get something custom made for you. Since you are the one whose spending, get your money's worth.

Well Mahi, most of the designers I had in mind are in Lahore :( Iam really going to try and persuade my parents to go to Lahore because Karma is so experienced in the bridal line. But I'd have to go back and forth for re-fittings etc so they will be pretty annoyed by that.
I dont think I can afford custom from Rani. I might just have to change some colours around instead of making it from scratch.

The bridals on there are pretty old, but I definitely reckon you should visit her if you fly to Islamabad.

Yup, Sobia Nazir is an Islamabad based designer who does bridals. The bridals on her site are pretty old but I am sure she'll have quite a collection at her store.

There is a **Karma Pink **store at the Beverly Centre in Islamabad.You can ask them whether they can help you with bridals or not.

Sobia Nazir's bridals are gorgeous!! A close family friend of ours got her daughters dress and daughter in laws dress made from her..really nice fabrics she used and unusual colour combinations..she is pricey though..something ridiculous like 5 Lakhs she quoted for one bridal!! But its upto u Stardust09..does it have to be designer?? My Bhabhi got her lehnga made from this store on Muree Rd called Bin Chirag..they do both womenswear and menswear, bridal and formal. He showed us this design which was for 2 Lakh, had a train and was a different type of cut sort of layered..completely different than what we had seen in other stores..so she got that made and chaged the colours..what intrigued her was the unusual cut of the lehnga..but she didnt want to spend 2 Lakh on her lengha, so he adjusted the kaam to fit her budget..my Mum went to see the finished lengha yday and said its gorgeous :) also in Pak theres the Brides&You magazine..which details alot of designers in Pindi Scheme III (which is where Rani Emaan is also located i think) If you need to stay local then why not browse around some of these? Admitted they wont be as recognised or established as Karma..but its worth looking esp if you manage to find and negotiate something uniqe and within your price range..good luck! :) x
Ooh and also you can try Fashion ka Ghar who have opened a new outlet in Jinnah Super..haven' been there yet myself but heard from a friend that they also have nice designs and can make any design you like..
