New Indian movie Metro has the following song, that I think is a copy of Waqar Ali’s hit 'do dilo ki hai ijazat, mera naam hai muhabbat’. Looks like Bollywood is taking revange from Vikki for stealing their tunes in his early days, a decade ago. No doubt he is the best composer in Pakistan today and I just love his drama OST in every second show these days. He is so good in Burmanque composing, his compositions reminds me of good old days when Burman and Kishore dominated the music scene in 70s.

And what about Pakistani copying there songs. Specially Sajjad Ali and Waqar Ali himself. They did copy many songs in their early days. Sajjad still steals songs, most recently was 'paaniyon mein'.

woho thank u smooth-guy...ever since i heardthis song i was like gawd where did i hear something similar b4...arghhhhhhh bollywood really needs 2 stop now...hadh ho gayi hai...lol they r so cheap! n i dun understand y our singers/composers dont take action against them......arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i m so damn pissed.
I noticed that too and was surprised as well as saddened considering the Indians have a mass market and so whatever they produce whether it being original or copied is heard far and wide and not to forget appreciated.
I think Waqar is really a talented guy who has done some beautiful background scores for the Pakistani dramas. I would also like to mention Ahmed Jehanzeb and Shariq Rumi here...as far as composing the music or title song for the dramas is concerned these young guys aren't far behind and are doing a remarable job.
