Sunjay Kapur couldn’t believe his ears when his wife Karisma Kapoor broke the news of her pregnancy.
“You know how men are. When I first told him about it, he kept asking if I was absolutely sure! Of course, he is really thrilled about it. And I am very happy and content to start a family,” says Karisma.
Lolo is in the fourth month of pregnancy. “I was planning to shoot for two films when I got this news. It was completely unplanned, so it came as a big surprise — a pleasant one though.”
Now, Lolo is all kicked about starting her family. “When we were kids, mom was always there for us. She would run down to help us when we fell down. With her soft touch, kisses and sweet talk , she would gently put us at ease. Years later, I enacted all this whenever I played the on-screen mommy. By now, I think I am an ace as a mother! Even my friends are convinced that I do not really need to prepare for motherhood,” says Karisma.
Though everyone in the Kapoor-Kapur khandaan is rejoicing, sister Kareena is the most ecstatic of the lot.
“Bebo is so impatient. She has just one question always: How long to go? She is already planning her own stuff,” laughs Lolo. (like kareena cant wait or wht )Busy wrapping up the last schedule of her TV serial, Karisma has been “working non-stop” for the past 15 years.
I did not take time off even for my wedding. So, this is a very deserving break." There is no preference for a boy or a girl child. And they haven’t thought of any names yet.
“We will start the process soon,” informs Karisma, “Naming your child is no easy task. Each one will have a name to suggest, but I am sure Bebo is going to come up with the most names.”
Karisma isn’t sure about where she would prefer the delivery — Mumbai or Delhi. For now, the mom-to-be will keep herself busy by “watching movies, reading and relaxing at home.”
