It was another Operation Gibraltor that Musharraf engaged Pakistan in. The army fought gallantly, despite the fact that the order did not come from the civilian head of the country. The beleaguered and humiliated General is clearly the one responsible.

Please explain to us how Fauji foundation is saving national budget? Army still eats up huge land chunks at what price? May be 2-10% of the actual cost? There are so many "cantonment" areas within Karachi and these are not 5-10 acres by the way.

^ There are armies in almost all countries. All armies have budgets. Only our army needs housing schemes to support its budget! They need beaches to support budget the too?

A political resolution of Kashmir issue is not in interest of the generals as they would not have an excuse for the huge budget they eat up. That probably why the peace process was sabotaged.
