My friend used to prepare a Karela in a particular way..she used to steam the karela , squeeze the juice out , slit the karela and deep fry it.
Then she used to prepare a onion paste ( shredded + add some masala) and fill the fried Karela with this paste…believe me it was so heavenly ![]()

My mum does the same thing... must be a punjabi reciepe. It does work in taking out the bitterness and then you can fill up the karely with keema and then cook them!

i like karalay very much, and my all family like to it. Infact last nite they were made in our house and everyone ate them nothing was left for me.![]()
kemma bharay karalay is one of my favourate dish. My mother does not make it often as it require lot of time and effort

now karely is one vegetable i dont like eating. i do have a bite(nawala) now & then...but nahhh im too sweet a person to eat such a bitter sabzi:p
