NEVER peel karelas! Let them dry a bit before you cut and clean them from inside. Then just shallow fry them and add to keema or any other salan. Keema + Karela combo is the best IMO. You should cook keema the same way you cook it normally and just add fried karelas at the end. It will turn out very tasty!
