stage outfits tend to be really tacky, tight and sparkly so this one isn’t so bad but i would never call it cute. cute is something that gives a woman a youthful, innocent kinda look and there’s none of that with this. however i did really like rani mukherjee’s look in this youtube performace of main vari vari:
Priety Zinta had a very pretty lengha with the bollywood dreams tour some years ago, her kareena, rani, srk. it was a take on the maahi ve look colors wise but a lot more sequins to catch the light that didn’t look tacky. but in general most stage costumes are a big mess.
It’s a bit ostentatious and overwrought, but I could see someone wearing this to her wedding. Never seen a Hindu wearing a jhoomer or covering her head with dupatta, before.

^ Fair enough, but it's inconsistent unless you put that disclaimer on the post of both offenders, instead of only one. Also, it's nonsensical to delete everything in a post but then let post itself stand; I find it less creepy to just remove the whole comment, than going in and rewriting its entire contents (which is positively Orwellian). Just my 2 cents.
