I hate this vegetable but I have heard that this is good for your health. I cannot eat it in any other form like qeema karaila, stuffed karaila etc.
So the only option is if I can have it in the form of a dessert like kheer or halwa.

1 cup chaney ki daal. Wash and soak for 45 mins.
4-5 medium karelas, peel and cut into thin slices. Coat with salt and put in a strainer. Leave aside for 45 mins. Then wash and drain and squeeze the karela slices.
1 large onion, finely sliced.
2 tsp. kalonji seeds
1 tsp. zeera
salt
haldi
red mirch
3-4 medium tomatoes chopped.
Fry onions in oil. Remove with a slotted spoon when they soften (before turning brown). Set aside. In the same oil, fry the karela slices until sides are light brown. Add onions, stiry fry, add daal, and spices. Mix well and add the tomatoes. Cover and cook on med-low until daal is tender. Granish with green chillies and cilantro. Daal should be khaRi khaRi not mushy.
