Ok, I always thought that Paindu people eat karalay .. and so have I argued about it all my life in front of my parents. Now, I am being called a paindo for not eating karalay ... wah how time changes.

Sugar Free u don't have to ASK for karaylay just look carefully and u'll see them. Look at oriental type markets ur bound to find them there.

The desi store in a small town as mine have 'em and usually very fresh.

Chinese markets sell two types of bitter melons. One is the true desi type and other is not so wrinkled with smoother skin. Anyone tried the second kind? Is the taste the same? Thanks
