Use Shaan Masala for Karahi gosht. Turns out pretty good.
**CHICKEN KARHAI BY SAMINA JALEEL
**Chicken1/2 kg (fry it a bit in 1 tbsp oil so all the juices get sealed)
tomatoes 3- 4 (cubed)
green chillies
oil
dhania zeera (crushed)
salt
garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
sliced ginger
in a pan take 1 tbsp oil add the tomatoes and 1 whole green chilli and cook well till the tomatoes turn soft, add the chicken cover it and cook, then add about 1/2 cup oil in it, add 3 - 4 thickly sliced green chillies, add 2 tsp salt, 1- 1/2 tsp dhania zeera (crushed),cook it, add some whole green chillies, 1/2 tsp garam masala powder,1/2 tsp dhaniz zeera, sliced ginger, mix, dish out.

**chicken- 1 kg
tomato - 1/2 kg katlain
lemon juice - 2 tbsp
oil - 1 cup
dhanya - 3 tbsp
hari mirch - 2 tbsp kati hoi
pyaz - 1 sliced
g/g paste - 1 1/2 tbsp
sookhi methi - 1 tbsp
kuti mirch - 1 tbsp
haldi - 1/2 tsp
salt -1 tsp or to taste
pehlay oil dalker pyaz daldain phir isko fry kerlain phir thora brown kerlain phir ismain chicken daldain aur fry kerlain achi terha phir ismain g/g paste,kuti mirchain,haldi,salt phir fry kerlain aur phir fry kerlain achi terha phir tomato daldain aur fry kerlain med aanch per fry kerte jain aur jub tayyar hojai to akhir main methi,hara dhanya,hari mirchain aur lemon juice daldain aur thora garam masala daldain.

chop tomatoes, add yogurt, namak, mirch (kali and laal), bit of oil if you prefer, cook until tomatoes slightly soften and release their water. add chicken to top of it, let it cook in its own water+ tomatoes. stir stir stir. eat. thank me by sending me some.
