Re: Karachi...
Go to Liaquatabad's "Bird Bazaar" on Sundays, and be sure to bring a WSPA officer with you ;). Other than that there are new shopping malls like Millennium Mall (Gulshan-i-Iqbal), Park Towers (Clifton), Dolmen Mall (Gulshan-i-Iqbal), and this place called the Forum (forgot where it is located). If you want some extremely cheap bootleg movies and video games, be sure to check out Rainbow Center in Saddar. There are many kickass dine-out places, depends on what your liking is; if your concern is taste with a lighter emphasis on environment or quality, Javed's Nihari and Student's Biryani are a must. If the latter are your priority, check out restaurants such as Lasania, Usmania and the international chains (KFC, McD's, Pizza Hut etc.). The food that is served in shops just around the corner is also good for the price and taste, but don't expect much from their quality or environment. Sorry but there is not much sightseeing in Karachi apart from the redundant shopping malls.

I love Sindh but but but Karachi is too far from my hometown so Lahore is obviously my first choice.. hey I may change my mind once I am there. ;)
