yea more thing i know this question may sound stupid but actually i never attend any wedding in Pakistani...........as you said that you were like guest at the wedding so i wanted to know who serve the food and was Mrs Zoreed also there to look after everything....i mean on the wedding day?

Rs.80,000 for the Bridal Shoot which includes 40-50 best shots in various sizes
Rs.85 per pic of event coverage
Rs.10,000 per day of video coverage
- Marriot, Pearl Continental, Sheraton, Avari Towers, DHA golf course, Ramada Plaza and Sadabahar are all really great wedding veneues in Karachi. It really depends upon your budget. If you hire a planner, you can even have a lavish wedding in a big, empty plot. You have to do the booking before the wedding season starts here as the prices are jacked up when the season starts. one more thing i would like to know.........my fiance was asking me if we book a wedding planner than how do we pay them and when to pay............actually i was telling him than we will give her or him advance and than he said what if he or she disappear with the money..........................so i want to know if we book a wedding planner than for example if we book a venue or photpgrapher than should we pay them directly or the wedding planner and when to pay................and yea if anyone have any experiance with mrs zoreed raza than plez let me know .........actually i emailed her serveral times but she never reply............

Also, is SAB'S still considered really good with their bridal makeup in 2008-1009 or has someone else out done them?

sweet_girl, the wedding planners are pretty well known and I haven't heard about an incident where a planner has run away with the money. Talk to Kyran from Plan It. She is pretty quick to respond and really easy to talk to. A guppan, sonali_2009, had a really good experiance with Mrs. Zoreed Raza. Please talk to her via her tel # or mobile # as she never answers her emails.
You need to discuss everything with the planners before you agree to pay. Do contact multiple vendors so that you can compare their style and pricing.
I found more venues in the Clifton area. You need to contact them as I have no idea about the pricing.

Samhoda, Regent Plaza is pretty okay, I guess. I am not a fan of the place so can't say more.
SABS is still good if you like smoky eyes and nude lips and most guppans are quite satisfied with their work.

sweet_girl123, I think you only have to pay the planner. They tell you the breakdown of the payment you are going to give them and pay for the venue, invitation cards, food, decor and even jora packing and all.

thats true, the regent is within the budget compared to PC / AVARI / Sheraton.
the kohinoor hall looked pretty good and the ppl i know who got married there said it was nice and the food was good too.
So we booked it for the shaddi in december, inshaAllah it will be all fine for both our weddings:) :)
