DG rangers just called Ch. Nisar that this is not an attack by militants but was a misunderstanding, area is clear now.

My flight to karachi is in a few hours!! wth i thought yesterdays drama would have made the airport the most secure place in the whole of Pak!

TTP Mohmand is claiming that they have attacked the airport again, three ASF people are injured. I wonder which era our bureaucrats and politicians belong to.

He might be in a safe house across the street from airport. BTW, time for Sindh assembly to pass law making it mandatory to registre all madrasas and mosques in the province & audit their funds.

…there was this one epic pic … when a media person was Interviewing a security perosonal by thrusting his mic onto his FACE…
Pemra or whatever should take strict action against such irresposibility , they was actually compromising the lives …by showing the positions of Security Perosonal live on TV..
..the normal rule all over the world is… areas are cordoned off and no media or irrelevant person is allowed within the operative perimeters …

authorities are now playing down the incident...they are saying that there was a firing exchange between ASF and drug smugglers...
...there has been a contradiction between two sets of authorities.

In most other countries, officials take notice of mishaps and act sincerely, but Pakistan is in league of its own. Thanks God that media, though sometime irritating, it is effective too.
I think that if media was not so vigilant, persuasive and aggressive, Pakistani politicians, judiciary, bureaucrats and police would not have bothered even to notice such events. Most would have kept themselves busy looting and plundering the country and harassing vulnerable citizens.
It is good of Pakistani media that it shows true face and character of rascals who rule the country, though it is unfortunate that in Pakistan, people still like rascals to rule them, loot and plunder the country, and kick their asses day and night.
