This 14th of August DG Rangers in Karachi asked 3 questions for the people of Karachi:
Can anyone with sane mind without racial bias interpret/translate for me? Is rangers implying that Karachi people put some other country or something else before Pakistan and rest of the country puts Pakistan first?

Thats a rubbish question to ask to anyone. Karachi is a huge city with 2.5 crores people and the financial capital of Pak. Had they not been associated with Pak, DG rangers wont be even able to stand there.
BUT, I think he just put it in the wrong way, he might have not meant those words specifically. What he was trying to ask was that are Karachiittes going to reject people like AH who were chanting Pakistan murdabad. Thats all.
Otherwise there are so many sub-nations in Khi, so many political parties etc. They all are associated with Pak and I’m sure DG knows it. He is just not a avid speaker to make a good extempore speech.

Naan waalay were giving preferential treatment to muhajirs when Rangers should have gotten it.

I think still a number of muhajir are still supporting AH. DG rangers speech is not out of contest keeping in view the following news published in Daily Dawn news paper.
Kamal, in a press conference earlier the same day, had brought attention to a video circulating on social media which showed masked men burning Pakistani flags.
Kamal had alleged that the men were acting on instructions from MQM founder Altaf Hussain. Kamal had further said that Hussain had issued an audio message through his website ordering loyalists to burn flags, share videos and pictures of them doing so on social media and also send them to the party’s London Secretariat.
He accused Hussain of spreading propaganda against the state, adding that the flag-burning videos were broadcast on India’s news channel.
“Farooq Sattar’s leader [Hussain], who calls himself the founder of the party [the MQM], told his supporters to observe a black day and burn flags on [Independence] day,” Kamal said, implying that the men shown in the video included members of MQM-P.

“A few Pakistanis were incited to commit this deed,” Sattar conceded, but “Our [MQM-P’s] patriotism has not been affected by anyone else.”

DG Rangers Sindh… Mohammad Saeed asked three question… Are people of Karachi read to identify themselves with Pakistan, Islam and Pankistaniat(Nation)?
Such question only suit to jahil hawaldar or politician but officer on such rank is asking question shows bigger problem
Karachi is diverse city of Pakistan.. 7 lac Christians, 2 lac Hindus, 1 lac other minorities. Everyone is not Muslim, but they are obviously Pakistani… White area in the flag represent them… who are you discriminate them?
This is not the duty of Rangers to give lecture on patriotism… your duty is to set law and order… and you are doing all other things … Rangers Public School, Rangers Wedding Hall, Rangers catering service, Rangers water hydrant, Rangers food street, Ranger petrol pump, Rangers gym, Rangers swimming pool… Rangers is doing all thing except their duty which they were called for…

How to become Pakistani…?
A citizen of Pakistan when go to Nadra office… they asked domicile of grand parents… If you go to police station to register FIR… they asked you the nationality of your parents.
You are doing business on my water by running your water tanker business… we are expending 15 billions rupees on 14th Aug celebration but still need a certificate of patriotism…

All of this filth coming from your mouth is because MQM still stronger in Karachi … then what is the problem… PMLN can still clean sweep Punjab… ANP will get seats even though their leaders openly disgrace Pakistan without any genuine reason… PTI CM of KPK can warn to become rebellion… JSQM in Sindh, BLA in Balochistan…Don’t they need lecture of patriotism…?
Unfortunately… if such words came from DG Rangers.. who I believe is educated… Then what can you expect from 8th grade pass Rangers hawaldar…

Why do we have DG Rangers addressing people considering they are not trained ‘speakers’? I agree with many of points above i.e. MQM is not Karachi even if MQM majority seats (hook or crook), he should address these questions specifically to MQM and not to “people of Karachi”.
Its pathetic that ‘rangers’ decide who is patriotic, as if they are doing their job properly. Can army first stop conquering its own country they are supposed to serve? Can rangers explain what they have been doing in Karachi since 1990s?

Btw, looks like Aamir Liaquat quit BOL TV during live Aug 14 transmission after criticizing DG Rangers Karachi speech.
Let’s see where he pops up next.

Such statements will only create resentment and give an indication that LEAs are biased. Being Karachiite, We feel more secure after the operation, however, I personally feel that this is temporary as Ranger’s role is shoddy in various aspects. I know many people who are target of Ranger’s extortion (which is obviously expected from any organisation in Pakistan which got some power). Army and LAEs should keep their patriotism sermon’s to themselves. If they have done some job, they have been paid from public money. Koi ihsaan nahin kia. Even they are not able to justify their existence since 1990s, when Karachi witnessed uncontrolled massacre in their presence.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement founder Altaf Hussain, who currently heads the London faction of the party, met US Congressman Dana Rohrabacher and Khan of Kalat Suleman Dawood, who is living in self-exile in London, in the British capital on Thursday.
According to a press release, Altaf briefed the American congressman on the alleged “unlawful arrests, torture, abductions, enforced disappearances of MQM workers and Mohajirs” in Karachi and other urban areas of Sindh.
According to the statement, Altaf also complained to the US Congressman, who is known for his anti-Pakistan views, about alleged illegal closure of MQM’s party offices throughout Sindh, including its headquarters, Nine Zero.
Congressman Rohrabacher, according to the statement, assured Altaf of his full support and pledged to raise these issues in the US Congress and other forums.

The Khan of Kalat joined the duo during the latter part of the meeting, which went on for four hours. Altaf and Dawood agreed to work together for rights of the Mohajir and Baloch people.
Rohrabacher is known for his anti-Pakistan stance in the US Congress. In 2012, he said the government of Pakistan was radical, and supported the Taliban, thereby was an enemy of US and freedom, and was one of two Congressmen who moved a bill in 2016 for the US to declare Pakistan “a terrorist state.”
Dawood went into self-exile after the assassination of Baloch nationalist leader Nawab Akbar Bugti in 2006.
Following Altaf’s anti-Pakistan speech in August last year, the MQM broke into two factions. While the ‘London group’ is headed by Altaf, Farooq Sattar is leading MQM-Pakistan.

The khan of kalat and dana rohrbacher also was present there. Why only the nazla on altaf? Pakistan has no guts to ever ban the travel of Dana Rohrbacher to Pakistan considering the fact that he has sponsored multiple resolutions to break up Pakistan.
Perhaps, it is the fact that he knows that he can pick on karachi unlike balochis / pathans since they will blow up army convoys and skin punjabis alive as was happening in balochistan not so long ago. Even the british said to respect the baloch.

Isn’t it still happening in balochistan where they randomly pick up punjabis or stop buses to single them out and shoot them on sight? The only difference now is that the list is becoming broader to include any non-balochis including sindhis, pathans or even chinese if they can abduct them.

The question should be for “MQM”, not for “people of Karachi”. Besides, rangers have been in Karachi since 1990s and they have been part of creating other terror organizations like MQM-H, releasing killers belonging to MQM and force them to join other side of MQM… so it is shameful for DG rangers to be making any such statements.

why dont you blame PPP who is extending rangers stay? ok, some racist would say law and order situation starts worsening whenever rangers’ stay going to end. If provincial govt is really capable, take up the challenge just expel rangers from Karachi. Start controlling the law and order in first place.

Not sure how “racism” comes into play here. Rangers themselves have been (some) part of worsening situations in past, their only role seems to be creating political parties / factions one after the other. PPP does have its own share of blame but DG Rangers has no right to question patriotism of “people of Karachi” when they themselves have played anti-Karachi/anti-Pakistan roles.
