Does someone know where online I can find some of those Karachi Style kachorian they sell only on Eid day ?
If someone is making them please send me some.
I have not eaten them for 1_ years now. I loved them.
I do not need recipe, I need the real deal.

I have had kachorian where the dough is kind of crispy with keema/aloo filling inside and the whole thing is deep fried. Is that what karachi kachoris are like too?

No they are not full of it , they have very lightly filled with that daal , and that daal is fried kind a , sort a, the taste is more of the crust which is so yummy. You have to try one then I am sure you will be hooked.

Kahoochiyrans are I guess stuffed puris with daal and eaten with carrot achar and aloo bhujiya thing… this is what I had when I was in Karachi… It is one of the most yumious thing…yum!
Oh and they are smaller in size compared to puriyan. You basically use the pooriyan dough. Stuff them with little moong daal mixture. It is bhoni howi daal mixturre slightly mushed (you stuff it the same way you would stuff keema or aloo for keemay/aloo walay parathay). Fry them in hot oil till goldren brown. Enjoy them with carrot achar and aloo salan.
PS. I don’t know how to make puri dough but I know lot of recipes for the puri dough have been posted.

Eid kachories are eid specific and are sold by sweets makers on Eid in Karachi.

^^ Oh.. I don't remember eid kachoris.... I was never too fond of sweets even as a kid so I don't think I have tried them. What are they filled with or is the puri dough sweetened?

Not sweetened but saltish. I personally do not like them as they are very much oily. I will try to post their pictures on Eid. Dilpasand and United King make very best of those kachoories on Eid here in Karachi.
Mirch did you try United King, I think they can deliver you in USA.

The ones I had were from the kachori carts on tariq road… what is the diference b/w those tariq road kachoris and eid kachories?

These types of kachories are available throughout the year and mostly on thelas. Their sales boost up on a rainy day!!! Yes the Tariq Road ones!
I really wonder what rains does with their taste!!!

Normal karchooies are hollow and soft whereas eid kachories are fully stuffed with aaloo or qeema and a little bit harder, I think.
