Funnily, enough I was looking at investing in KSE listed companies. Pakistan has huge potential if steered in the right direction. Its a gold mine awaiting to be exploited.

yes...but the sudden crash every 2,3 years doesn't help much if you are into short term stuff...

OK ^ Guys , Now lets talk about my request plzzz, :smiley:

I have some stocks for companies on KSE;

1 - They are registered to my very old address in Karachi since 1996 and never got hold of any declared dividends from these companies
2 - I need to claim any un-delivered dividends to a new address if possible
3 - How one can inform these companies about the address change ?
4 - What do I have to do to sell these stocks without being in Karachi ?

you need to make a power of attorney and appoint any person to act on your behalf...
communicate with the company at its registered office address about your situation.
since your shares must be in physical form.....they will need to be converted to CDC (electronic) and you need to contact the company for further information...

Thanks NomiCA ! Thats a start ,,, what If I have NO REPRESENTATION in Pakistan at all (for power-o-at)?

& Do I still require to have an ID card the new types ?

well if you are not there yourself..it will get difficult..because in pakistan you have to have some person do the running around for you...u just can't sit back and get your work done just by sending letters n mails...

alternatively you could approach some broker in stock exchange...they may guide you too......you could call their number get some info acting as a prospective client and then proceed further..:D
