On Giving Competition to DUBAI, i don’t know much about it but what i know, there was time when Karachi use to be International Hub for Air-planes but now very few international airlines uses Karachi for that matter, most of them have shifted their offices to Dubai, once a fish market…

Same with Gawadar, which if becomes fully functional can get Dubai Port out of business, but for some reason, that is not taking off and UAE was caught twice with its hand in the jar…

This was because of higher landing fees at karachi and last I read, ASF and CAA are federal run organizations. Also, it isn’t like MQM can fire stingers at the aircraft so the business is still there for flights to karachi.
