Re: Karachi…safe for a short trip?

I replied to her question, “What would you decide in this situation?”
you don’t have to embarrass yourself in every thread.
Sweet.
Okay, So lets analyze what was more insightful for the OP.
This?
hareem01:
follow the instincts.
Or this? (Actually coming from someone who lives in Karachi)
Exodus:
Personally, I’d go.
Family down from Clovis, CA to celebrate Eid.
Another left back to London after spending 3 weeks.
Tonnes of people from the Masjid who could live anywhere they wished to but stick around.
Fee Aman’Allah
p.s. Post more!
To a question thats this?
Hey everyone. So I’m a longtime lurker but I decided it was finally time to post something and I have a serious dilemma. I’m hoping you guys can help as many of you live in Pakistan.
My family is going back to pakistan after a very long time in a few weeks. We’ll mostly be in Punjab for most of the stay but a close relative is getting married in karachi while we are there. We had initially plan to take a short trip to karachi for the wedding. However, with the recent waves of violence though out the city, my parents are having second thoughts. We really do want to attend the wedding but my parents fear the worst. We need to decide in the next couple of days whether we are actually going to go.
What would you decide in this situation? It would be great if someone from karachi could pitch in with the state of affairs there and how safe it really is.
Thanks in advance.

How does such an answer help generate more traffic for a forum you’re affiliated with?
So I see you’re keeping an eye on me, I see you’re posting soon after i post too. Must be fun following someone who keeps embarrassing himself I guess.
