Gunmen killed at least 37 people in Pakistan’s largest city after the assassination of a lawmaker, officials said Tuesday. Dozens of vehicles and shops were set on fire as security forces struggled to gain control of Karachi.
The southern city of more than 16 million has a history of political, ethnic and religious violence, and has long been a hide-out for al-Qaida and Taliban militants. Its stability is important for Pakistan because it is the country’s main commercial hub.

Re: Karachi on Fire

There is no cure for this cancer unless we get some good leaders. Leaders who want to lead with an example, I don't expect leaders like Abu Baqar, Umer, Usman or Ali, Just someone who can feel the nation pain and who have roots in people. Look at our leaders, there is not even one person I can honestly trust. Imran Khan have knowledge but his team is just below average, rest is all garbage and they need to be loaded in truck, drive them to top of the cliff, one shot in head and push them in ocean.

Re: Karachi on Fire

Karachi never had ethnic warfare till the 1980s, it was a peaceful and amazing city where everyone cohabitated in peace.

It's been turned into a battleground of barbaric proportions in the past few decades. Go figure -- the "why" question is a no brainer.
