Anyone been to Pakistan very recently. Last time I was there, the Forum was in its finishing touches, and people were beginning to open stores there. The most expensive stores I’ve seen in my life in KHI, but nonetheless nice ones.
Any new malls or parks or fun-entertainment oriented places opening up soon?

What exactly is the Forum like?
I remember when I visited Khi 4+ years ago, I was told how Chen1 and the mall next to it is all that. It turned out to be a very boring place.
It may be something big in Pakistan, but when compared to the malls in North America, those malls/stores are still pretty small/weird.

Sometimes, you gotta appreciate the effort these guys put in.
And next to shopping in Saddar, this place made me feel at home. Yes, its small. But its clean.
I thought Chen1 compares to like JCpenny. So, no, its no Dillard or Macy's. But I like the boutiques in Pak Towers (or is it Park Towers).

The Forum has more grandeur to it, than Park Towers. They have a SWATCH shop there.

malls are popping up everywhere. Zamzama boulevard is a really happening place. There isn't any malls there. But whole bunch of individual boutiques and high end restaurants. That whole street is just full of rich burger kids hangout spot.

Well when I went to Khi, my cousins gave me the impression that Chen1 and PakTowers are more or less the copy of North American malls or just as good. Mind you, the same cousins have been the US and Canada a whole bunch of times.
Chen1 and JCPenny? I thought JCPenny is a store like Sears? Chen1 from what I can remember has 2-4 floors. Each floor had a store or two max and has a weird layout.
PakTowers although is a lot better, but still looked weird for some reason.

Apart from just roaming around clifton and defence, you can also check out Dolmen Mall in Tariq road and Millinium Mall in Drive-in Area(Gulistan-e-Jauhar). You might like what you see there... Lots of new franchises and fancy shmancy shops there.
