the Uk lad I am talkign bout at Baqai was Nauman, i think he finished just like a year or 2 ago.

i finished from Baqai 7 years ago so probably have not seen him.

LOL, I attended that break dancing in the art council

Village rerstaurant in Metropole use to have Live english band

Old Taj Mehal Auditorium did some local christian bands concert. Those guys were amazing

Nahin I don;t remember about the Safari park walay scenes. I am sure there were alot of chapar over there (Chapar was also a famous term)

no man, I did not, my bro did, not only did he attend he was a real bidniz man and used to get vendor permits and sell orange juice and what nots at the concerts, and this is while he was in college, bohot cheeta admi tha. I think he was a year or two your senior though. was amiong the kids who went to that VS pepsi ad shoot as well.

I was not in Pak then.

I remeber that VS shoot. They picked quite a few boyz and gals from City School Darakshan branch.

aik toh tum log bhi na predictable jagahn par janay walay..the better place to hang was quaid’s mazaar, safari park had a bad rep for this stuff, and if u were caught your ass was grass. at mazar e qaid u can always say that u came to visit the mazaar. it was in a busy area but provided privacy, tons of public transport for ghareed ghurba like me who had no car or bike, and more than anything, ppl felt more secure there because chances of getting caught were less, plus u did not come off as someone with an agenda.

oye unkil.. who said I used to go there i was a kid back then.. I only heard about the stories…

I also heard Police asking for Nikah naama from people there

heys guys dont forget ALL YOU CAN EAT @ Pizza Hut ramazam deals. Bara mufta tora hay. Pizza hut was the pioneer in all you eat deals. The best one during ramazam was the boat basin one and shaheed milat one.

ji barri picnics manaiyee hain wahan, but it was def much safer than safari. qauid e azam bhi kehtay hon gaye keh tum chochoron kay liye mulk banaya tha jo meri qabar kay paas dates kay liye aatay ho.

dekho yaar... Quaid tau marnaY kaY baa'd bhee qoum kaY kaam aataY rahai... afsos tau qoum par hai jo Quaid ko samajh hee naheeN paayi aur apnaY apnaY Quiad-e-Awam aur Quaid-e-Tehreek banaa kar beTh gayi :)

dekhain ji quaid nayhum bar barra ihsaan kiya tha , hum nay aadha 71 mein uttar diya, aur baqi aadha utarni ki poori koshish jaari hai.

did they ever clean the mazar, i know that one of the environmental studies done by abbu it included the impact of pollution on the mazar as well. not sure if your dad was involved in that study, back in early 90’s i think.

as for envoironmental studies, my abbu tells me that the most polluted area of the world is nowhere else but in Karachi - Tibet center it is!!!!!!!!
