Please make some recommendations for a foreign visitor, places for shopping, dining out, entertainment, cool cinemas and nightlife, venues for seeing live bands or DJs etc.

In the order of your question;
park towers, tariq road, lal qilla, salt n pepper, sea view, beach park, picnic on the beach, prince cinema, Nishat Cinema, Night life .. 
I wouldn’t suggest it :nono: , if you are ADVENTUROUS , go with someone you know 
For live bands performances .. check the local newpapers
