Apparently carried out Balouch or Sindhi insurgents as they targeted ethnic Pakhtoons in a sub-urban area of Karachi caled Mawach Goth.
Quite possible, Balochs have bigger beef with Punjabis as they see them as their colonized, MQM is at war with ANP. Or possibly a grenade stored carelessly in truck as Pashtun have lot of ammo

Mostar 95, Sindhis may hate you but historically they are not terrorists, you don't know Sindhis even after 75 years of Pakistan.
Taliban are taking over Afghanistan. Pakistan can again be target of terrorism. Since most of the refugees as usual move to Karachi from KP and Baluchistan borders, Karachi will again be main target of terrorism. Unless Sindh government install check posts immediately at provincial borders to stop such infiltration by road or by train.

KARACHI: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and police Friday jointly arrested two alleged terrorists while foiling a terrorist bid, planned for Independence Day.
Malir District police said that the arrested suspects — identified as Ikram Chandio and Sheeraz Soomro — during the initial interrogation, confessed to having organised a terrorist activity in the city for 14th August.
Two suspects were arrested by the FIA and Malir District police in a joint operation in Jokhio Goth, Gulshan-e-Maymar area.
According to Malir SSP Irfan Bahadur, FIA and Malir District police had launched the operation on the basis of a tip-off regarding the presence of suspects in the aforementioned area.
Two grenades were confiscated from the possession of the “terrorists”, who belong to an anti-state group based in Sindh, said the SSP.
Further investigation into the matter is currently underway.

I truly feel that separatist sentiment is becoming stronger, many ethnicities feel they are not treated with fairness. If Dindh separatists are involved than definitely there is foreign support

Sorry, I miscommunicated, I feel Sindhis, Balochs and Pashtuns have legit rights movements and TTP, TLP, ISIS, ALQaeda and many Jihadists are terrorists movements. If Balochs start targeting civilians than that is an act of terrorism.

Zardari stealing Billions from a poor nation and giving millions to Ashwariya Rai for private fun parties and the Waderas and corrupt politicians and the army have a lot to answer to the disadvantaged Sindhis. Biggest exploitors of Sindhis are the Waderas. I knew Jiye Sindh activists and that movement had Indian backing.
So far Zardari is living freeman and more than active in politics. The corrupt justice system could not punish him. It is not only Zardari many criminals in uniform and in civilian dress are roaming due to failed justice system of Pakistan. I agree waderas have played havoc with the lives of poor Sindhis and Sindh itself. One such pioneer wadera GM Syed sided with Quaid-e-Azam and passed resolution for Sindh to become part of Pakistan without safeguarding the interests of Sindhis and Sindh province. Sindh is still suffering on this account.
