KARACHI: Lyari Police arrested an associate of Rehman Dakait after a brief encounter on Sunday within the jurisdiction of Chakiwara Police Station.
Acting on a tip off, the police conducted a raid at Singu Lane and arrested Amjad alias Grenade. “Amjad is a group member of Rehman Dakait’s sub group named Jabbar alias Lungara,” said SHO Aslam Gujjar. “With 40 cases registered under his name he was wanted for crimes such as murder, attempt to murder, kidnapping.”
Gujjar further said that Amjad had recently killed a member of the **Ghaffar Zikri Group, Younus Turkey.

There were various other gangsters present on the scene but they managed to flee. Additionally, the SHO claims to have recovered weapons from their possession.
