They’ve issued a 48 hour ultimatum to the govt. I just hope they dont take matters into their own hands. that would lead to much more destruction.

Other then the MQM consipiracy story I have also heard that Musharraf was behind this bombing on orders of Pentagon who want to kill 500 ulema of Pakistan. The person who told me this truly believed it.

The sunni tehrik leaders like abbas qadri, iftikhar bhatti cant be categorise as ullema e karam.

sunni tehrik is a militant barelvi group and have political ambitions.The group had clashes with MQM in the past and was the only group left in karachi which could somewhat counter MQM.Ex haqqiqi jup and jehadis are its activits.

I found it very sad that u people start to blame each other and different sects of Islam to be responsible of the terrorist attacs in Karachi. There has allways been differences in Islam, but they have very seldom resulted in such crimes. There is noting wrong in disagreeing whether barelvi, deobandi, shia etc. is wrong or true. Muslims have allways had a wast different approach towards understanding Islam.
Personally I dont think that any real muslim would kill anybody innocent because its prohibited by Allah. It must be work of someone with a very week or non what so ever believe in Allah. We should stand together in this moment instead of blaming each other. Peace to all of you.

There was no other option for the government.Afgan jehad and taliban are a differnt story.CIA created them and when their work was done which was to throw russians out the US decided to end their creation themselves.

Musharraf had no other option if he would have refused to cooperate with the US then US would have attacked Pakistan too with afghanistan.

This is an internal issue a blast in financial hub of the country has its affects all over.what will government gain when the whole city will be close for three days.No kse trading,no business activities etc.

People are dying in the country or tumhein trading ki pari hoi hai unbelievable what the hell with you. What kind of mind you have.

Secondly Musharraf had no any other option except this. Yar tumhare se achay to Iranians hi reh gay go US ke agay jhukay nahi abhi tak dispite of that they do not have any atom bomb. But you had jame ghafir of atom bombs still US ke nechay lagey ho zara sharam karo zaida nahin thori se sharam karo.

What I never understood why the strikes? Why burning cars/motorcycles or buses? Why do people come on streets? Why do things to welcome police/military on streets?
Adding to the problems for everyone is not the solution.

I guess we Pakistanis can't mourn in peace. Until we riot a little, burn a few buses or buildings, perhaps even have a couple of fatalities in the process, disrupt or shutdown business and schools is how we like to express ourselves after such events.

It is a time of mourning and we should be praying for the departed souls. We should be talking about coming together and standing together and not let the people who want to divide us succeed. Let us give the authorities time to figure this out and hopefully justice can be served.

According to GEO, the investigation so far has shown same explosive was used against Shea places.

Also per GEO, after the blast a small group of people chanted against MQM to incite people.
MQM or Govt. would lose its credibility if involved in such a large scale crime so conspiracy theorists have no reason but to spread hatred!

After failing to cause trouble during Muharram, evil forces now tried this tragedy.

I wonder what this person Anti- will do if these events do not occur?
He won’t have the fun of spreading hatred!

Creaing problem in Karachi or any city for that matter is not helpful for anyone including the Govt. or MQM. So my point was that those who think MQM or Govt. is somehow behind this tragic event are absolutely wrong. Logic and common sense need to be used here I think.

Off note: 'Suicide bombing' need to be removed from the label of Islam since it is beaten to death already by many people. A person chanting islamic slogan while commiting crime doeas not mean the person is muslim.

First of all what govt will gain by discouraging investment? —> Five more years in power from US yeh sab US ko kush kerne ke liye kya hai i think this is a task that US has appointed to Mushy and mushy has transferred this to MQM and MQM did this blast.

Secondly yeh waqat nahin aye ga ke US tumhein taraqi kerne de ab blochistan mein kysa phada dala hua hai kabhi ghor kya hai. US will not allow you to improve living standards of the people specially poor people jin ke saath woh games khayle rehte hain.

yeh na ho her bar koi hamara scholar mer jaye or govt her bar yehi kahhe ke koi destablize kerna ch raha hai hamare country ko or miti dal de investigation per.

Mera dil kehta hai ke yeh shias ne nahin kya yeh MQM ka karnama lagta hai cuz they had link with india in the past this is General Hameed Gul said in Kamran Khan Ke Sath program mein or mughe yeh sach lagta hai.

I know that jaamat is against MQM and mqm is against jamaat so the two parties are accusing eachother.The fact is both of these parties are against sunni tehrik.

Governments in the past and present always failed to carry out proper invetigation of a tragedy.we still dont know why our troops surrendered in 71 and the whole creation of bangladesh.The hammod ur rehman commision report was never shown to the public and it was censored by our government.

Tragic events. Killing people in prayers is the most heinous act possible, there is no room for rationalization or diversion from the tragedy.

Discussion forums are meant for open debate, if we cannot express our opinions then there is no point coming here. Niether will social niceties solve these terrible problems.

Extremist parties such as SSP, Jaish, JI have been involved in sectarian and political murders for decades. Back in the good old jihad kosher days, they were untouchable and their acts were considered acceptable. Riaz Basra was a Pakistani involved in murder of numerous shias found support within the Pak estblishment and our taliban neighbours. So why are we surprised and reluctant to believe it was somebody just like these mass murderers responsible for the bombings in Nishtar Park?

Note what Hameed Gul Said -----> "Sab ko pata hai ke Past mein konsi party ke india ke sath taluqat rahein hain main naam nahin lena chata sab ko pata hai may be unhoon ne na kya ho but space di ho kisi or ko to do this blast."
