We are thinking of having my wedding in August 2012, the only problem is i don’t live in Pakistan and I’ve haven’t been in Pakistan during the summer, so i have no idea what the weather is like then. I spoke to my relatives and they’ve all scared me, telling that it’ll either be raining or that it’ll just been raining so they said it should be horrible! 
did any of you guys have your wedding during August in karachi? how was is?

I had my wedding in Karachi in August 2008. It was awesome. The mehndi was outdoors and at the end of the night it became misty this was around 2am. The wedding was indoors. Didn't rain at all but I was scared about the same thing.

August weather in Karachi is milder. Just note tho that 2/3 of the month will be Ramadan in 2012.

Also don't be afraid of rain. Our wedding was in December, peak wedding season. And the ONE day it rained was our wedding day, just during the time of the event.

August-October is equally hot as April-May in Karachi. July and first two weeks of Karachi are monsoon season. After monsoon, the temperature shoots up. So best of luck dear, better arrange ACs at stage atleast.

no, both the mehndi and Shadi will be held in Golf club.. so the halls are ACed.. i'm just scared about that some of the guest might not make it because the road beeing blocked because of the rain!
